AmeriWell Clinics has appointed Dr. Erin Saunders, DNP, FNP-C, as the new Medical Director for its Baltimore and Clinton, Maryland locations. With a strong background in critical care and a reputation for compassionate, patient-centered care, Dr. Saunders brings both clinical excellence and leadership to her new role.
Dr. Saunders earned her Doctor of Nursing Practice from the University of Maryland in 2025 and her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Towson University in 2018. Over the past seven years, she has worked in high-acuity hospital environments including surgical units, intensive care units, and pediatric ICUs, where she gained recognition for her calm, confident approach to complex medical situations and her deep commitment to patient well-being.
In her new role, Dr. Saunders will oversee the clinical operations at AmeriWell's Baltimore clinic located at 3424 Annapolis Rd. and the Clinton clinic at 9135 Piscataway Rd., Suite 105. She will provide leadership and supervision to the medical teams at both locations while continuing to deliver hands-on care to patients.
