Exit Planning Institute Raleigh-Durham Chapter to Host Annual Owners Forum

The Exit Planning Institute (EPI) Raleigh-Durham Chapter will host its Raleigh-Durham Annual Owners Forum on September 16 from 8:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at the Doubletree Hotel in Durham, North Carolina. The half-day event is designed to help business owners learn how to grow a stronger, more valuable, and more transferable business through expert presentations, panel discussions with local owners, and an interactive case study.

Todd Bailey, President of EPI Raleigh-Durham, emphasized the event's core philosophy: "Good exit planning is good business strategy." He noted that the forum provides an opportunity for local exit planning professionals to hear directly from owners in the community and explore ways to help owners accelerate business value and reduce risk.

Attendees who are business owners will gain insights into how growth strategy and value creation work together, and they will develop practical steps for improving business value and preparing for leadership transitions. For exit planning professionals—including financial advisors and business consultants—the event offers unfiltered perspectives from North Carolina business owners. The forum is exclusive to chapter members and their business owner guests.

The event aligns with EPI's mission to serve professional business advisors' educational and resource needs. Since its founding in 2005, EPI has provided the Certified Exit Planning Advisor (CEPA®) credential program, which is the most widely endorsed professional exit planning program globally. The program equips advisors with the content, tools, and training needed to engage business owners and become their most valued advisors.
