FORTEC Elektronik Aktiengesellschaft, a leading provider of display technology and power supply solutions, is advancing the reorganization of its group by appointing new management at several subsidiaries. This move aims to broaden the management team and devolve greater responsibility and decision-making authority to regional operations, aligning with the group's new growth strategy.
In the Czech Republic, Martin Novak became Managing Director of FORTEC CZ on June 1, 2026. He is responsible for the existing production facility in Dysina and will oversee the planned move to a new production site and expansion. FORTEC CZ manufactures electronic assemblies and DC/DC converters, and assembles displays with touchscreens. Novak brings over 20 years of international management experience in logistics, production, and the automotive sector, with expertise in production and logistics management, process optimization, change management, and organizational development.
At the US subsidiary FORTEC US, Paul Hooper took over as Managing Director and Chief Revenue Officer on July 1, 2026. Previously the Managing Director of Sales at FORTEC UK, Hooper successfully reorganized and developed the business there. He now aims to replicate this success in the US market, focusing on driving organic growth and expanding the company's market position. Together with co-Managing Director Scott Makboulian, he will broaden FORTEC's presence in North America. Hooper has over 30 years of experience in the international electronics industry, with expertise in market analysis, leadership, and sales.
Rhett Evans will succeed Paul Hooper at FORTEC UK on September 8, 2026. With more than 25 years in the electronics industry, Evans brings expertise in embedded computing, display technologies, and customized system solutions. He combines a strong technical background in electronic engineering with extensive sales and management experience.
Patrick von Unold will become Managing Director of FORTEC Integrated on October 1, 2026. This subsidiary provides display technology and embedded computing and plays a key role in research and development within the group. Von Unold has many years of international management experience in the electronics industry, with expertise in embedded electronics, display and touch technologies, and human-machine interfaces. His experience in sectors such as medical technology, automation, and transport, combined with his technical knowledge, will support product strategy and sustainable solutions.
