Shincheonji Church Graduates 59,192 Students Who Claim Mastery of Biblical Revelation

The Shincheonji Church of Jesus announced that 59,192 students officially graduated from the Zion Christian Mission Center's 116th class during a ceremony held at Shincheonji's Cheongju Church. The church describes these graduates as believers who have mastered the entire Bible from Genesis to Revelation through a rigorous educational program that requires completion of three academic levels and scoring at least 90 out of 100 on the final comprehensive examination.

Chairman Lee Man-hee addressed the gathering with a powerful theological challenge, stating that the Bible warns against adding to or taking away from God's Word according to Revelation 22:18-19. He asserted that Shincheonji has mastered the Book of Revelation and urged Christians to abandon reliance on church hierarchy in favor of direct engagement with biblical text. Lee's message emphasized that genuine faith requires returning to the Scripture itself rather than depending on human religious authority.

Despite what the church characterizes as intensified persecution and misunderstanding, graduation numbers continue to grow significantly. This year's class included 2,248 ordained pastors, bringing the total number of pastor graduates over the last four years to more than 13,500. Church representatives interpret this trend as evidence that religious leaders worldwide are seeking deeper biblical understanding beyond traditional seminary education.

Oh Sun-kyung, a former pastor who previously led three churches, delivered the main testimony during the ceremony. He confessed to struggling with understanding Revelation despite reading the Bible over thirty times and eventually stepping away from ministry due to this theological limitation. Oh reported experiencing immediate transformation upon beginning studies at the Zion Christian Mission Center, claiming that within the first hour of instruction, his heart opened to biblical understanding grounded exclusively in Scripture.

International participants highlighted the global reach of Shincheonji's educational mission. Park Sang-jun, who spent over four decades in the Presbyterian Church, admitted to previously criticizing Shincheonji but reversed his position after attending Mission Center classes and concluding that the instruction follows Scripture strictly. Lígia Monteiro traveled sixteen hours from the Netherlands to participate, noting that Shincheonji's approach differs from other churches because it avoids personal interpretation in favor of explaining verses using Scripture itself.

Tan Young-jin, Director-General of the Zion Christian Mission Center, framed the graduation as evidence of divine endorsement despite external prejudice. He characterized the educational achievement as spiritual transformation through truth rather than mere knowledge acquisition, suggesting that graduates have uncovered biblical truths that even experienced pastors previously struggled to comprehend. The graduation ceremony, themed Love and Blessing—The Light That Shines on the World, accommodated more than 20,000 attendees in person while tens of thousands participated online through Shincheonji churches worldwide.
