Sheridan retired in late 2024 after a distinguished career focused on expanding access to affordable housing nationwide. Most recently, she served as Senior Vice President and Head of Acquisitions at Berkadia from 2021 to 2024, where she led the Tax Credit Syndication team's nationwide origination and acquisition strategy. This role involved overseeing complex transactions and working closely with tax credit investors across the country to support the development and preservation of affordable housing communities, highlighting her hands-on experience in financing mechanisms crucial to the sector. Prior to Berkadia, Sheridan spent nearly two decades at Boston Capital, serving as Director of Originations from 2003 to 2021, where she developed and executed the firm's targeted nationwide origination strategy, helping expand its impact while supporting developers and partners committed to affordable housing.
In 2024, Sheridan co-founded Sheridan Consulting, a firm that provides financial and organizational expertise to nonprofits, housing authorities, and other affordable housing practitioners, demonstrating her ongoing engagement in the field.
