Accelleron, a global technology leader in turbocharging and fuel injection, announced the appointment of Ravin Pillay-Ramsamy as President of the Service Division and member of the Executive Committee, effective October 1, 2026. Based in Baden, Switzerland, Pillay-Ramsamy will succeed Roland Schwarz, who has been appointed CEO of OMT, an Accelleron company specializing in fuel injection. Klaus Heim, current CEO of OMT, will retire at the end of September 2026.
The appointment comes at a pivotal time as Accelleron continues to expand its service offerings and support the maritime and energy industries' transition to more sustainable operations. Daniel Bischofberger, CEO of Accelleron, expressed enthusiasm about the new hire, highlighting Pillay-Ramsamy's extensive international leadership experience in industrial services, engineering, business development, and M&A, as well as his deep expertise in power generation, oil and gas, and industrial infrastructure. Bischofberger noted that Pillay-Ramsamy's proven track record in leading global service organizations will be highly valuable in strengthening Accelleron's service business and creating value for customers worldwide.
Pillay-Ramsamy joins Accelleron from Sulzer, where he served as Division President Services and was a member of the Executive Committee. During his tenure at Sulzer, he held several senior leadership positions within the Services division across EMEA and Asia Pacific, demonstrating his ability to drive growth and operational excellence in diverse markets. Prior to Sulzer, he began his career in the United States at Turbine Services Ltd., where he served as Business Development Director and Vice President Engineering. His academic credentials include a Global MBA from Columbia Business School and London Business School, a Master's degree in Management and Finance from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Computer Engineering from The Ohio State University.
