The Brooklyn Tabernacle will host the Fresh Wind, Fresh Fire Conference from October 2 to 4, 2026, in New York City, led by senior pastor Jim Cymbala and Grammy Award-winning choir director Carol Cymbala. The conference aims to refresh and equip those serving in ministry through two specialized tracks: one for pastors and lay leaders focused on biblical encouragement and prayer, and another for worship leaders and music teams seeking to deepen spiritual impact through music.
Jim Cymbala, who has pastored the Brooklyn Tabernacle for over five decades, emphasized the conference's purpose in a statement: 'I've had the privilege of pastoring for more than five decades, and I know firsthand the challenges and blessings of ministry. The Fresh Wind, Fresh Fire Conference is about helping leaders and worship teams go home with a renewed heart and a fresh fire for what God has called them to do.' Cymbala is the author of best-selling books including Fresh Wind, Fresh Fire and Fan the Flame, which have inspired pastors worldwide to deepen their commitment to prayer and biblical preaching.
Carol Cymbala, director of the Grammy Award-winning Brooklyn Tabernacle Choir, highlighted the role of music in ministry: 'Music is a powerful tool for ministry. My prayer is that every worship leader, singer, and musician who attends will encounter God's presence in a life-changing way.' Attendees in the music track will have the rare opportunity to rehearse and sing with the choir, gaining hands-on experience in a world-class worship environment.
The conference will take place at the Brooklyn Tabernacle, located at 17 Smith Street in Brooklyn. Registration is available at https://www.brooklyntabernacle.org/fresh-wind-fresh-fire-conference/. For more information, follow the Brooklyn Tabernacle on Facebook or Instagram.
